Title: LocalSound.io – Music Studio Marketplace
Role:
Founder & Product Developer
Timeline:
30 days
Tools:
React.js, Resend, Supabase, Tailwind CSS, Google Maps API, Adobe CC, Cascade
Description:
A two-sided marketplace for the music industry that connects recording artists with professional studios. Features include booking, interactive maps, role-specific accounts, and built-in social networking. Entire system designed, built, and launched in 30 days using AI-assisted workflows.
The Brand StoryWhy It Looks the Way It Does
The Logo Concept: Map pin + vinyl record = location + music.
Details That Matter: Grooves change width and fade into a subtle gradient — like real records — so it’s detailed up close, but minimal at a distance.
Color Choices: The red is based on traditional map pin markers; blacks/greys are taken from the tone of actual vinyl records.
Impact: The color palette directly drove the UI theme — deep black backgrounds, red interactive states, subtle gradients, and white text for maximum legibility.
Core FeaturesWhat It Can Do
Multi-Role Authentication – Secure login flows for artists and studio owners.
Advanced Booking System – Calendar, pricing, and availability tools with automated payment + refund handling.
Interactive Map Search – Custom Google Maps integration with location markers, popups, and geo-filtering.
Social Feed – Media-rich posts with embedded SoundCloud/YouTube and threaded comments.
Verified Reviews – Only post-booking users can leave ratings, ensuring authenticity.

Direct Messaging – Once you book with a studio, you have direct access to whom you booked with.
